Localwave for Android — Terms of Use

By downloading, installing, or using Localwave for Android ("the App"), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

Top 7 Systems ("we", "our", "us") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Localwave on any Android device that you own or control, subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

2. Use of the App

Localwave provides access to publicly available Australian radio station streams via an interactive map. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicence the App or its content
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services or servers

3. Radio Content

Localwave does not own, produce, or control the audio content streamed by radio stations. Each station is independently operated and responsible for its own content and licensing. We aggregate publicly available stream URLs for your convenience but make no guarantees regarding the availability, quality, or legality of any individual stream.

4. Cost

Localwave for Android is free to use. There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no in-app purchases. All radio stations are streamable for free, and you can save unlimited favourite stations.

5. Intellectual Property

Localwave and all associated branding, design, and code are the intellectual property of Top 7 Systems. Station names, logos, and audio content belong to their respective owners.

6. Data and Storage

All user data (favourites and preferences) is stored locally on your device. We do not host, back up, or have access to your data. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, app deletion, or any other cause.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Localwave is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• All radio station streams will be available at all times
• Stream quality will meet your expectations
• Station metadata (names, frequencies, coordinates) will be accurate or complete

Stream availability depends on the individual radio stations and their infrastructure.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Top 7 Systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Top 7 Systems from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time without notice if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
